Direct Auto Export Launches Website, Specializes in Exporting Cars from Wholesale Auctions in the U.S., Canada

CAMBRIDGE, MA, June 19, 2009 — While major car manufacturers are facing unprecedented financial obstacles, wholesale sales of previously owned vehicles - particularly to other countries - are thriving in the current economic climate. Average wholesale prices in May were up on a year-over-year basis for the first time since December 2007, according to ADESA Analytical Services.

Businessmen Charles Karyanis Jr. and Rustam Biisen are capitalizing on their wholesale auto sales experience with the recent launch of Direct Auto Export LLC and its online portal, DirectAutoExport.com. Used car sales comprise about 90 percent of its business.

The company is an international trading company specializing in the export of automobiles and other vehicles. Through Direct Auto Export, individuals around the world can purchase vehicles directly from wholesale auto auctions in the United States and Canada.

“The U.S. and Canada have a diversified used vehicle market with competitive prices,” explained Karyanis. People in other countries see the value in purchasing vehicles from the U.S. and Canada.

Direct Auto Export facilitates every phase of the transaction - finance, shipping and all logistics. Safeguards are instituted to protect both the buyer and the seller. Buyers must submit a deposit of $1,000 or 10 percent of the vehicle’s cost prior to bidding or purchase. The deposit is refundable, less wire transfer fees, if the buyer decides not to complete the purchase.

To protect the buyer, a full report of each vehicle’s condition is available. If the buyer requests, a third-party service can conduct a vehicle inspection.

Some vehicles have a bid option; others have a “buy it now” option with a fixed price. More than 200,000 vehicles are available for sale, including:

  • New and used vehicles
  • Foreign and domestic models
  • Clean and damaged/salvage cars
  • Trucks, SUVs
  • Boats, Jet Skis
  • Construction equipment, trailers
  • Motorcycles, ATVs (popular in countries like the U.K. with right-hand-drive vehicles)

For a limited time, Direct Auto Export is offering free registration. Details are available athttp://www.DirectAutoExport.com.
